Friday Night and feeling a bit better.

Dear Arizona,

It’s finally my first Friday night back in Olympia. Luckily, I feel better than I did a few days ago. Wednesday night and early Thursday morning (midnight- 7 am ish) I felt absolutely terrible. I will shamelessly admit that after a night of no sleep, sweating out my fever, having no water, and extreme body aches I called my mom at 7-my-time for a bit maternal, over the phone comfort. (And, hey, in my defense I did just return from her nest so… chirp chirp.)
But, like I said, I feel much better! Not perfect, but. You know. I’m fairly sure I’m just not very good at the first few days of cold, because this always happens. Fever and all. But, after sleep, vitamin C, and very punctual doses of extra-strength Tylenol I always feel better. Oh, and water. Never underestimate how miserable you become when you have no good water. Water is key.

Anyway. This first week has been pretty amazing, if you don’t count the unfortunate health. I think that this weekend the gang might go to the not-sound beach and have a beach day! And a picnic! I’m especially looking forward to it. And if it happens then you can betcha’ I’ll take pictures, seeing as how I’ve never been to the Washington beach (save for the sound). Actually, I’ve never been to any shore other the California one…

But speaking of the beach, during the day on Wednesday when I still felt good, I worked out like a maniac and then I went to the beach with some of my sweet little kittens. We laid out in the sun on beach rocks. We saved baby fish. I collected many seashells (which I have many crafty ideas for). We checked out the wrecked graffiti spot and I got some nifty little pictures. Here’s one:

It was a beautiful sunshine day. And now, I have to go to the sketch show auditions and then fooooooood time. I hope your night is filled with glorious wonder, AZ, an mine shall begin right now. Until next post!

xo. E.
