Cozy Sunday, as told at 1 am.

Dear Arizona,

111211-192242

I slept away my Sunday morning (if you don’t count the beginning of the morning, from midnight to 5 am- that I was awake) happily, for the first time in a while. I ate brunch that mostly consisted of breakfast potatoes and a- ready for this?- orange, white chocolate, coconut scone. (Do not be fooled: the Greenery is still just as fickle as… I don’t know, the ficklest of things in all of fickle town. There was nothing appetizing for dinner.) Then, I made some coffee and began painting. I have been painting since, basically, save for the (unappetizing) dinner and occasional dancing-around-my-dorm-in-fuzzy-socks break. Yeah. That happened…

But, not all days can be spent with my window open and my hands full of paint. I have much to do this Monday and Tuesday. Things that include purchasing the items I have in mind for Christmas presents and cleaning my room. Packing. Before all that happens, however, I have some pictures for you, dear desert! Surprises. I’m fulla’ them.

The right picture: The painting is unfinished, but it’s the final painting of Snow White for my Pin-Up princess collection. All final paintings (when finished) will be cut out and then pasted to a canvas. The sketches on lines paper are the rough drafts to all the princess in my first series. The darkness on my webcam makes Snow’s outfit-coloring not quite as detailed, but that’s alright.

The beach. This day was so gorgeous. It started out pretty normal: cloudy and quite chilled. But then, as we were searching for rock treasures, the sun came out! These are just two shots out of the hundred-something.

Two more pictures, but of things you know of well, AZ.

Just three of the many lovemuffins I can’t wait to see. (Even though Caleb informed me today that he won’t even be in Arizona for most of the time I’m there. Heartbroken. Absolutely heartbroken.)

Sleep tight, south-west. I send my love.

Oh! Hey, post script.
I finished a painting I’ve shown unfinished before.

It’s one of two conceptual pieces. The finished one is titled:
”Dreaming Lady (against the tree that spits fire)”.
The second one will be “Man of the Sea (rebirth)”, just, you know, hint hint. Hehehe.
